Author Talks & Workshops
School visits
I’ve done all sorts of writing and I do all sorts of talks and workshops across the primary age range. I like to devise an individual programme for each visit in consultation with the school.
I can offer talks on writing fiction and/or non-fiction, the writing process, being a writer, writing about bullying and related topics.
I can offer writing workshops on fiction and/or non fiction, where the emphasis is very much on pleasure and participation.
A day will typically consist of two or three sessions, a half-day of one or two. I charge the Society of Authors’ recommended rate.
Jenny’s approach to writing really got the children motivated and enthused. It was brilliant!

Talks and workshops for adults
I do talks about bullying for parents and people working with children, as well as author talks for reading and writing groups.
I run a rolling programme of evening workshops on fiction, non fiction and autobiographical writing for adults in East Cornwall and can offer one-day/ half day workshops further afield.
